High Protein Breakfast Sandwich
whole wheat english muffins
egg whites
white cheddar cheese slices
turkey bacon
avocado oil spray
hot sauce of choice
Ingredients
- If baking bacon, preheat oven to degree indicated on turkey bacon package - alternately, use two frying pans, one small and one large
- You'll use your small frying pan to create the egg white patty
- In small non-stick frying pan over medium heat, spray a dash of avocado oil
- Pour in about ¼ cup of egg whites, swirling the egg white to coat the pan
- Simultaneously, cook the turkey bacon to your liking, either in oven or large frying pan
- Allow egg whites to cook thoroughly
- Lightly toast an english muffin
- In the small frying pan, fold the egg white patty in half, and again once more, to create a thicker patty that will fit on the english muffin
- Add on slice of cheddar cheese and cover, allowing cheese to melt
- To assemble your sandwich, add hot sauce to your toasted english muffin, place turkey bacon down, and the egg white + cheese patty on top. Enjoy!
