The Best Turkey Tacos

¼ tsp avocado oil
½ lb ground turkey breast
1 can organic black beans, drained
1 packet organic taco seasoning
1 tbsp water
corn or flour tortillas, based on your preference
guacamole
sour cream
shredded cheese
diced white onion
salsa verde

Ingredients

- Prepare your toppings so that as soon as your meat is done, you can put your tacos together & enjoy! 
- On medium heat, grease a medium sized pot with ¼ tsp of avocado oil to ensure turkey does not stick.
- Place ½ lb ground turkey breast in pot, breaking up the meat as it cooks down.
- As soon as turkey is cooked through, remove from heat and drain if necessary.
- Add packet of organic taco seasoning and 1 tbsp of water, mix thoroughly. Cook for 2-3 minutes. 
- Add in full can of drained organic black beans, stir to combine. Cook 3-4 minutes, occasionally stirring. 
- Prepare tortillas however you prefer! Fried, toasted, etc.

My favorite way to build the tacos is to place your heated tortilla on a plate, add guacamole and sour cream first. Add with the taco meat, then top with shredded cheese. Lastly, add diced onions + salsa and enjoy! Serve with any of your favorite vegetables, chips & salsa, or Spanish rice.
