Açai
Bowl
1 package of unsweetened açai blend
1 cup organic frozen berries
½ frozen banana
8 oz unsweetened almond milk
1 tsp honey
granola of choice
½ fresh banana
strawberries, sliced
blueberries
Ingredients
- Prepare your toppings before blending your base. I recommend sliced banana, granola, sliced strawberries and blueberries, but use whatever you like best!
- Next, run the frozen pack of açai under warm water for 30-45 seconds.
- When it's slightly thawed, remove from water and use your hands to break up the açai while still in the package.
- Using a blender, add in almond milk, frozen banana, açai blend, frozen berries and honey. I often split these up so that the base blends well together. For example, add in the milk + banana & blend. Then add in açai and blend. etc.
- If your base isn't thick enough, add in additional frozen berries and blend.
- In a medium bowl, pour in your açai base.
- Add your favorite toppings and arrange beautifully! I like to add granola on one half, and arrange the fruits on the other half.
- Drizzle with honey if you'd like, and enjoy!
